INDIGENOUS BEADING

There are several styles of Indigenous beaded earrings such as feather earrings, drop/dangle earrings, medallion style earrings, etc. This Indigenous beading class is an introduction, which teaches participants how to design and make their own medallion style beaded earrings using traditional and modern techniques. All levels of participants are welcome to share their knowledge and learn. Beading allows one to explore a different way of telling one's story or expressing one's cultural traditions, as well as offers another form for healing.
